Two local universities will receive a total of $250,000 from executors of the estate of Conrad Hubert, Florida philanthropist, as a part of the millions set aside for some 15 institutions se- lected by the late Calvin Coolidge, Alfred E. Smith and Julius Rosenwald, according to an Associated Press dis- patch. Howard University will receive $200,000 and Catholic University of America will receive $50,000. This was made known yesterday with the filing in New York of an ac- counting of the disbursements of the | endowment. The accounting showad that already more than $4,000,000 had been spent and that eight of the insti- tutions named would receive a million dollars. The two local institutions are included in the list.
