Puneral services for Patrick Joseph Sullivan, battalion chief of the Dis- trict Fire Depertment, who died yesterday in Georgetown University Hospital, will be held at Holy Trinity Church tomorrow at 9 am. Building. In 1925 Mr. Sullivan was commended by the Commission- ers for services at the Kann's ware- house fire on January 13 of that year. A native of Washington, he lived at 1412 Twenty-ninth street. Besides his widow, Mrs. Margaret Sullivan, he is survived by six chil- dren, Joseph, Vincent and John Sul- livan, Miss Frances Sulliven, all of Mrs. Francis Sullivan, oseph. O'Brien of Buffalo. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Briggs and Mrs. James Callow; six brothers, Capt. Cornelius Sullivan of the Pire Department, Thomas 8., Daniel, John and Joseph Sullivan, all of Washing- ton, and Michael Sullivan of New Jersey. A niece, Mrs. Thomas Nichol- son, lives in Washington. FRANK WRIGHT BURIED IN OAK HILL Washington Funeral Director Was Member of Masons and Elks’ Lodges. Funeral services were conducted to- day for B. Frank Wright, 57, co-director of the John R. Wright funeral home, who died Monday at his residence, 4404 Sixteenth street. A native of Wash- ington, Mr. Wright was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Hattle M. Wright. Educated in Washington’s public schools, he attended Taylor University in Upland, Ind. Mr. Wright was a member of B. B, French Lodge, F. A. A. M.; Lafayette Chapter, R. A. M.; Washington Com- mandery, K. T, and the Elks. He was also a member of the Washington Board of Trade and the Maryland and District Funeral Directors’ Association. Besides his widow, Mrs. Emily D. ‘Wright, he is survived by two brothers, John R. Wright of Washington and Lawrence Wright of New York City. Dak., December 20 (#). —Right Rev. James O'Reilly, 76, Bishop of the Fargo Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church, died unex- pectedly last night. He became ill earlier in the day. A native of Ireland he was ordained in Dublin, came to the United States in 1876 and his first appointment was as as assistant priest at St. Michael's Church, Stillwater, Minn. ARLINGTON COURT HOUSE, Va., December 20.—A new “low” for bad checks sent in to the county treas- urer’s office in payment of taxes was established this year, according to Treasurer C. T. Jesse. Of the approximately $367,000 so far collected this year only one check has been returned—for $7.68.
