HOLLYWOOD, Calif., December 20. —Romance blossomed prolifically this year among the people who manufac- ture romance for the silver screen. Fifty-three film couples were mar- ried this year. Last year there were only 31. To be sure, some of the unions did not last the year out. ‘Whirlwind Courtship. But cupid found consolation else- where.
