ACTON ON TRAFF PROBLEN SOUGHT Georgetown Citizens Take Up Niae-Point A. A. A Plan for Study. Citing the all-time traffic fatality | toll in the District, John H. Small, president of the Georgetown Citizens’ Association, last night declared the situation should arrest the attention of every citizen of Washington, and referred the nine-point program of the American Automobile Associa- tion, which recommended traffic so- lutions to the Board of District Com- missioners, to a special Traffic Com- mittee. Inspector William H. Harrison, re- tired member of the Metropolitan Police, who heads the committee on police and fire protection, was asked to make recommendations to the as- sociation for improvements of the traffic situation. Inspector Harrison's committee was | asked by Col. John Paul Jones to | study the liability of motorists in- volved in traffic accidents. Library Work Starts.
