KIDNAPERS' FARM SOUGHT BY POLICE Chicago Father’s Reluctance to Aid After Return of Boy Hampers Officers. By the Associnted Press. CHICAGO, ber 20.—“Kidnap Farm,” where Billy Ranieri was -held captive for ransom - for 13_days, today became the center of police interest. The 10-year-old boy and his father, Frank Ranieri, accompanied a police posse in search of the Fox River Valley near Dundee and Carpentersville, Il Billy furnished a detailed description of the farm and officers expressed confi- ii.e‘:_lee they would locate the kidnapers’ Billy and his father wvere to appear in court today, but police feared the father's admonition to the boy to “say nothing, do nothing” might prevent the lad f.om telling what he knows of his captors. State's attorneys, however, were de- termined to push prosecution. They expressed an intention to demand the death penalty for all connected with the kidnaping. Juliano Romano and Salvatore La Rocco were sought as the actual kid- napers. The boy identified their pho- tographs as those of his captors. Guards were stationed around the Ranleri home to avold disruption of State plans to bring Billy and his father before an examining magistrate. The elder Ranieri has been reluctant to dis- cuss the kidnaping even since the safe return of his son. 3 TWO HELD AS JOY RIDERS.
