U. S. Grant, 3d director of the Office of Public Build- ings and Public Parks of the Nationai Capital, seeking an investigation of charges by Mrs. Mary Montague Castle- man_ Shipley. 2707 Adams Mills road. that a member of the park police force roughly treated her while placing her under arrest in Judiciary Square in | June, 1926. Col. Grant said that Mrs. Shiples | J made a complaint to him shortly after fu the incident and a thorough investiga- tion was made by Capt. M. H.
