Y., Oct. 28 Fifteen original Bull Moosers gather at luncheon yesterday to commemo- rate the 79th anniversary of the birth of the late President Theodore Roose- velt, and heard his son, Col. Theodore Roosevelt, jr., aver that “the policies those of the New Deal are as different as day from night.” To the little group of his neighbors who composed the Board of Directors of the Progressive party of Nassau County when Theodore Roosevelt ran for President under that emblem in 1912, Col. Roosevelt said: “My father stood for reform, in democracy under the Constitution, while the New Deal would destroy democracy by concentrating the powers of reform in the hands of the President. “My father believed in working for the poor and underprivileged.
