Miss Elizabeth Hearn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Hearn of Friend- ship Heights, Md., and Mr. Willlam ‘Tyler Page, jr., son of Mr. William ‘Tyler Page, minority clerk in the House of Representatives, were mar- ried yesterday afternoon in St. John's Episcopal Church in Georgetown at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. F. Bland Tuck- er, pastor of St. John’s Church, as- sisted by the Rev. W. W. Shearer of St. Timothy's. Episcopal Church, Catons- ville, Md., officiated. Yellow and white chrysanthemums decorated the altar. The bride, who was given in mar- riage by her father, wore a traveling suit, the ensemble consisting of a dark green crepe dress with a coat of the same color trimmed in blue fox. She carried & muff of the same fur and wore a green felt hat and a shoulder bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. She was attended by Mrs. Sterling Ruffin Maddox, whose gown was of rust-color crepe, with which she wore a velvet hat of the same color and & cluster of talisman roses. ‘The best man was Mr. John C. Page, brother of the bridegroom, of Alex- andria, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Page left on a short trip to Atlantic City. Upon their return they will live at 220 Woot- ten avenue, Friendship Heights, Md. Both Mr. and Mrs. Page are grad- uates of Western High School. Mrs. Page sattended George Washington University and Mr. Page is a graduate 'of ‘the University of Maryland, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fra- ternity. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pierce, brother- in-law and sister of the bridegroom, of Camden, N, J., attended the wedding. Miss Evelyn Arvilla Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Ross, and Mr, Thomas Wilton Orme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Orme, were married last evening in the Brookland Methodist Episcopal Church at 8 o'clock. The Rev. Edwin Allen Ross, brother”of the bride, performed the ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Mary G. Lewis, organ- ist, and Mr. Abe Clar, violinist, The church was decorated, with mixed white flowers in- two baskets, palms and ferns, The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father and wore a gown of white satin. Her hat was of lattice work satin from which hung a net veil trimmed with orange blossoms. She carried a bride’s bouquet of white rose buds. ‘The bride had as her maid of honor Miss Helen Ray Orme, sister of the bridegroom, whose gown was of rust color velvet and who carried an arm bouquet of talisman roses. Little Betty Morris was the flower girl, wear- ing a frock of yellow taffeta and carrying a basket of talisman buds. Mr. Theron Harris of Washington was the best man and the ushers were Mr. Frank Myers of Clarendon, Va., and Mr. Morris Bishop of - Mount Rainier, Md. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents after the ceremony.
