N., retired, who died at his home, 1402 Chapin street, yesterday morning, will be con- ducted at the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Chaplain Evans, U. 8. N., will officiate. He was grad- uated from the University of Vermont and began the study of law, but with the outbreak of the Civil War decided to serve his country in the Navy.
