GENEVA, December 14.—A note from the British government suggesting the constitution of a special commission of inquiry to study, define and settle the rights and claims of the Jews and Mo- hammedans regarding the walling wall in Jerusalem is among the matters which will come_before the fifty-eighth council of the League of Nations on January 13. The council's chief legal business will be the naming of a committee of 11 to frame a report embodying proposals for bringing the League covenant into har- mony with the Kellogg pact. It is believed that the council will have little difficulty clearing its business in time for the British, French, Italian | and Japanese members to be present in | London for the opening of the naval conference on January 21. Students Differ on Happy Life. LONDON, December 14 (#).—Mem- hers of the National Union of Students ’ha\e voted on what are the most im- portant factors that go to make a happy | life. The most votes went for a sound constitution, but there were quite a few ballots for a sense of humor, a blameless reputation, an assured future, a good cook, a poker face and a thick skin.
