S. on Wednesday Ambassador Delays Trip Argentine AmBaésaddr Preparing to Attend Peace Conference in Buenos Aires. Other Notes of the Diplomatic Corps. HE Hon. Lady Lindsay, wife of his Britannic Majesty’s Am- bassador, Sir Ronald Lindsay, will sail Wednesday from England on the Queen Mary for this country. The Ambassador will not return until later in the Fall. His excellency, the Argentine Ambassador, Senor Don Felipe A. Espil, and Senora de Espil are entertaining at dinner at the embassy tomorrow evening in honor of the former minister of finance in Argentina, Senor Alberto Hueyo, and Senor#& de Hueyo. The Ambassador and Senora de Espil will leave the middle of October for Argentina, where the Ambassador will attend the sessions of the Conference for the Enforcement of Peace which will be held in Buenos Aires. They will return to Washington the end of January. Their excellencies remained in Washington this week end. The Chilean Ambassador, Senor Don Manuel Trucco, and his daughters, Senorita Marta Trucco, Senorita Graciela Trucco and %ecr&na 1Rebeca Trucco, will return to Washington from Bluemont er 1y ‘The Belgian Ambassador and Comtesse van de Straten Ponthoz will return tomorrow from Long Island, where they are attending the polo matches. The Ecuador Ambassador, Senor Capitan Eloy Alfaro, will entertain at two receptions the first of October in honor of the delegates in Washington attending the conference on the boundary line between Peru and Ecuador. The Austrian Minister and Mme, Prochnik will arrive in New York Friday on the Deutschland from Europe, where they have spent the Summer. They will come directly to Washington. They are accompanied by their daughter, Mlle. Patricia Prochnik. The Swedish Minister and Mme. Bostrom will arrive in New York on the Gripsholm tomorrow from Sweden, where they were called earlier in the Summer owing to the death of their daughter.
