Young broiling chickens are selling 16 to 22 cents a pound with rocks bringing top prices but Leghorns are wnot so desirable and sell mostly 17 and 18. Old hens, 4'; pounds and over. sell mostly 16 to 23, with Leg- horns. generally slow sale at 14 to 16 and old roosters draggy at 12 and 13. ‘The market for young ducks shows no change from last week at 14 to 16, with small, poor. thin ducks under 41z pounds slow to move out at irregular | values. Young guinea fowl. 2 pounds and over, continue in good demand at $0. but smaller size birds not wanted at any price. Eggs Remain Steady.
