Brown Shifts Several Regulars—Fifty to Enter School. ‘The Police Department’s personnel will be strengthened Tuesday, when 24 rookies who have finished their instruction course will be assigned to duty in the precincts. The addition to the rolls was re vealed yesterday in an order by Supt. Ernest W. Brown, in which he also announced a number of transfers. Pvt. William T. Murphy, Crime Prevention Bureau, who has been as- signed to juvenile delinquency cases for three years, will become a sergeant at No. 9 precinct. He will succeed Sergt. R. C. Speith, who is slated for retirement. Pvt. A. W, Kasius, Traffic Bureau, will take Murphy's place. Liquor Squad Changes. Pvis. O. J. See, J. D.
