Clergy and laymen in growing num- bers are lending their aid in the city- wide religious survey to be held here in Pebruary, it was announced yesterday. The survey, to be followed in March by a visitation evangelism campaign, | will be conducted under the personal supervision of Rev. A. Earl Kernahan. by local churches. It is estimated there are between 25,000 and 50,000 residents of Washington who are not affillated with any church, and it is these that the Ministerial Union of Washington and Vicinity, which is behind the cam- | paign, hopes to reach. The survey will be conducted from February 9 to February 21, and the city of ‘Washington, Arlington County, Va., and the Anacostia section of Mary= land have been diveded into 10 dis- tricts, under the supervision of the dis- tricting committee headed by Dr. Cloyd Heck Marvin, chairman, and William | ©O.
