pen. Women's Carnival Costume Ball Listed Outstanding Event program Outlined for Tues- day Eyening Embraces Picturesque Features Rep- resentative of History and Fiction. Mrs. Aaron D. Newman, president of the District League of American Pen Women, will head the receiving line at the reception which will formally open the carnival costume ball of her or-! fmmtlun Tuesday evening at the Wil- ard her Mrs. Clarence M. Busch, national president of the Pen Women; Mrs. Eli A. Helmick, chairman of the ball, and Mrs. E. Richard Gasch, first vice presi- dent of the District League. ‘The ball will open at 10 o'clock, and dancing will be continuous until 1 o'clock, interrupted only by the inter- mission for supper at midnight.
