Central Mission Drive For $100,000 Annex Starts Wednesday Dinner at Calvary Baptist Church to Launch Campaign The Central Union Mission’s drive to raise $100,000 for an annex to its headquarters and the Children’s Emergency Home will be launched at a dinner-meeting Wednesday at afy the Calvary Baptist eral Chairman W. W. Everett, will campaign intensively between Wed- nesday and May 3. An Advance Gifts Committee, which has been soliciting pledges for several weeks, will report at the meeting. The amounts pledged by the team workers themselves also will be announced. E. H. De Grott, jr., chairman of the men's division, and Mrs. Jean Bennett, head of the women's divi- sion, will speak at the dinner. Clif- ford L. Johnson, manager of the campaign, will give the teams last- minute instructions about their | prospective duties. Three Report Meetings Planned. There will be similar dinner- meetings on April 26, April 29 and May 3 to report on progress of the teams. These dinners will be held at_the Calvary Baptist Church. The proposed annex is to be named the John S. Bennett Me- | morial Building in honor of the late superintendent of the mission.
