As a result of a series of pictures published in The Star yesterday demonstrating the new “10 rules of Politeness” policy of the Capital Transit Co., the Southwest Citizens’ Association last night voted to ex- press appreciation to Vice President J. H. Stephens of the transit com- pany for inaugurating the new system. The measure was introduced by Harry S. Wender, chairman, Law and Legislative Committee, who declared there has been great need, in the past, for the adoption of this policy. Dr. leon S. Gordon, director of the medical division, Metropolitan Bo- @ Jice Boys’ Clubs, was praised for his work by President Jacob M. Schaffer and other members of the assoeiation.
