Yesterday afternoon Capt. ard Mrs, Harry Warren Johnson were hosts at a large cocktail party in their quarters at the garrison, entertain- ing around 60 guests in honor of Capt. Stadler, who has been stationed at Fort Myer for the past three years in command of Troop E of the 3d Cavalry, and Mrs. Stadler. This evening Lieut. and Mrs. Jo- seph Ganahl will entertain a small company at dinner for Capt. and Mrs. Stadler, and Saturday evening Capt. and Mrs. Donald Galloway entertained at dinner at the Army-Navy Country Club for them. In Texas Capt. and Mrs. Stadler will visit his parents, Judge and Mrs. John H. Stadler, on their ranch near Brookettville, and will later go to Dallas to visit Mrs. Stadler's rela- tives. They will return to New York the first week in March and will sail March 18 on the Republic for the Philippines, where Capt. Stadler will begin his next tour of duty.
