Lady Lindsay to Arrive In New York Tomorrow After Summer in England HE Honorable Lady Lindsay, wife of His Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador, will arrive in New York tomorrow from Eng- land, where she has spent the Summer. The Ambassador will not return until later in the Fall. The French Ambassador and Mme. de Laboulaye had as their guests at the embassy last .week the Comte and Comtesse de| Champeaux, who left the Capital yesterday for Detroit. In the Fall of 1934 she came to Washington, where she since has made her home. Mr. Davenport is the son of former Representative and Mrs. Frederick Morgan Davenport of Clinton, N. Y., and Washington. PERKINS, wife of the late Representative Randolph Perkins of Woodcliff Lake, N. J., announces the mar- riage of her daughter Elinore Louise to Mr. John Sylvester Woodin, son of Mrs. Sylvester Woodin of New York. The wedding took place yesterday at Wildhurst, home of the bride’s mother, at Woodcliff, the Rev. Edwin Carson, Ridgewood, N. J. officiating, in the presence of only members of the two of the bride's father, arrangements for the wedding were as simple as possible. ‘The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. John Randolph Per- kins, and she wore her traveling cose tume of brown. There were no at- tendants. Mr. and Mrs. Woodin will make their home in New York for the Win- ter months. Gardiner, which took place at 4 o'clock in the afternoon in the ‘Washington Club. The Rev. Father Joseph O’Connell, S. J., performed the ceremony, which was preceded by a program of music played by a string trio. Palms and sibodium ferns and a bowl of white flowers on the table formed the decorations. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a white ring satin gown made on princess lines with long, tight-fitting sleeves, with a Queen Anne collar of lace. Her long tulle veil was held in place by a lace cap and was caught with orange blossoms. Miss Ennis Little was maid of honor for the bride, wearing a toast color velvet made on princess lines with short, puffed sleeves and a short train, Her Juliet cap was of velvet and she carried & bouquet of bronze chrysan- (Continued on Page 10, Column 1.)
