Faculty members and students of Wilson Teachers College will meet at 10 a.m. Monday in the auditorium of the college for services in memory of | Prof. Paul E. Lutz, chairman of !he history department, who died last | Tuesday. PFuneral services will be conducted at the same time in St.| Paul, Minn., birthplace of Prof. Lutz. Prof. Lutz died in Georgetown Uni- versity Hospital when stricken with pneumonia after a long illness. He had been associated with the teachers’ college five years. Born in St. Paul, Prof. Lutz attended the University of Minnesota, where he received his bachelor of arts degree, and later studied at Columbia Univer- lanhattan Shirts | sity, receiving his master’s degree and completing work for a doctor's degree. He studied also at Ohio State Univer- sity, the University of Berlin and the University of Pennsylvania. He came to Washington from Mount St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia, where he was an instructor in history. Previously he had taught in the public schools of Minnesota. Funeral services for Haywood Dana Newbold, 30, prominent in brokerage and social life of the Capital, who was asphyxiated accidentally Wed- nesday in his apartment at 2339 Massachusetts avenue, were held this | morning at St. Matthews’ Church.
