Southern Society Plans Moonlight Trip on River ‘The Southern Society of Washington has completed plans for the final en- tertainment of the season, which will take place Tuesday evening, August 5, at 8 o'clock. The soclety has chartered the City of Washington and will enjoy a moonlight trip down the Potomac River. Mr. J. Cloyd Byars, president of the organization, is acting as chairman of the trip. The officers of the society will act as a hospitality committee and will include the president, Mr. Byars; vice president, Mr. Hampson Gary; financial secreiary, Mr. John Franklin Little; treasurer, Mr. Charles Warden, and secretary, Miss Etta L. Taggart. Other committees will include Mr. Fred Myers as chairman of the enter- tainment committee.
