SUKKUR, India, May 3—Ma Jinnah, prominent Bombay Mos- lem leader, in a statement today on the eve of the Moslem confer- ence, advised “all my countrymen, particularly the Moslems” not to associate themselves with the methods, creed or policy of civil disobedience which he character- 1zed as unwise and impracticable. Ma Jinnah earnestly called on all to show patience until the London Conference had been held. s 4 .~ o Following brief funeral services at his Winter home in Miami, Fla,, Wed- nesday afternoon, the body of Brig. | Gen. Richard L. Hoxle, who died there Iast Tuesday, will be brought to Wash- ington and taken to the home here at | 1632 K street some time Friday. Hoxie, Who was 86 years old, | was a veteran of the Civil and Spanish- | American Wars and was for many years prominently identified with the govern- ment of the District of Columbia. He was a member of the old Board of | Public Works of the District and engi- peer for the District from 1874 to 1878 eubsequently, under the new form of | government, he served as assistant to the Engineer Commissioner from 1878 to 1883.
