Epiphany Sunday School To Give “Silver Tea” Tomorrow. ‘The officers and teachers of Epiphany | Bunday school will entertain at a “sil- . ver tea” in the parish house, at 1317 G _street, tomorrow afternoon from 3 to 6 o'clock to assist in promoting the work of the bishops in the mission field sponsored by Epiphany parish. Miss Du Puy and Miss Betty Miles will be special pages to the national president. The “owl” costumes, which will be worn by the pages, with the very attractive headdress, have been designed by young Theodore Tiller, widely known for his puppet plays, the scenery and costumes for which are of his own designing. The authors' breakfast, which will be the opening event of the biennial con- vention of the league, will take place in the Willard Hotel Easter Monday, April 21. ‘Tuesday evening, April 22, the pages will represent heroines of famous poems. appearing in appropriate costume, at the meeting of the poetry group, under the direction of Mrs. May Folwell Hoisington, chairman of the try de- partment of the league. CINCINNATI, Ohlo, April 11 (). Members of the Cincinnati Federa grand jury have been recalled for a second session to consider evidence pointing to liquor law violations in the sale of liquid extract of ginger, it was announced here late yesterday. The jury was discharged Tuesday after re- turning 62 indictments. Sawyer A. Smith, United States dis- trict attorney at Covington, Ky., today delivered to Haveth Mau, district at- torney here, evidence involving a num- ber of Southern Ohio dealers. Smith said he was unable to prosecute three dealers in Kentucky because the evi- dence concerned acts committed on the Ohio side of the Ohio River only.
