Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa Soror- 4ty, George Washington University, will hold its Christmas formal party at the Beaver Dam Country Club Friday, De- cember 27. Miss Marion Ziegler will be hostess, and will be assisted by Miss Naomi Crain and Miss Peggy Somer- vill. Zeta Chapter will also entertain at an “open house” tea dance on New Year day in compliment to the fraternities and sororities at George Washington University. The dance will be held at the Hamilton Hotel from 5 to 8 o'clock. ‘The Alpha Chapter of the Delta Phi Epsilon Fraternity of the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown Univer- sity held its twentieth initiatory ban- quet at the Lee House last week, and the occasion was made more eventful by the installation of the Etta Chapter of George Washington University. Mr. Stephen J. Varga, president of the fra- ternity, was toastmaster. The speakers of note included Mr. William S. Culbert- son, United States Ambassador to Chile; Dr. William Notz, dean of the School of Foreign Service; Dr. Roy 8. MacElwe:, commissioner of the port of Charleston, S. C.. Dr. Charles E. Cunningham Coz Society at Qunntico Schedules Elaborate Holiday Festivities Return of Juniors From Schools Signal for Unusual Activity—Christmas Pag- eant Staged Last Thursday. QUANTICO, Va., December 21— With the return of the post juniors from their various schools and colleges for the holidays and the activities shown in general post Christmas preparations, one feels this will be a most active place for the next few weeks. The first of the numerous Christ- mas pageants in which the children are taking was held Thursday aft- ernoon in the post chapel. It was given by the post children’s school and called “The Nativity of Christ.” All the chil- dren in the school participated in some way in the playlet or songs. Next week there will be two more pageants given by the Catholic and Protestant congre- gations of the post and both will be held in the chapel. “Christmas eve there will be the Christmas tree for the children in the post lum. This is one of the large gai gs of the season and since there are some 300 youngsters on the post to receive gifts, it takes much planning on the part of the commit- tees assisting Chaplain E. G.
