Puzzle Solvers in League. What is declared to be the hardest- thinking society in the world has been formed in Europe. It is the Puzslers’ league and has on its rolls enigma experts, wizard of the cryptogram, the cross-word and the charade. The motto of the soclety is, “Puzzle solving fights off boredom, the greatest enemy of the human race.” Group of Employes Mr. W. Stokes Sammons entertained his employes and their wives at a dinner Friday evening at the Hamlilton Hotel, the program being arranged for him by a group of his guests. Mr. Warren Dempsey acted as master of ceremonies and short talks were given by Mr, Sammons, Mr. R. W. Mosher, Mr. F. Gicker and Mr. R. Myers. Entertain- ment was furnished by the Harmonica Quart<t of Stewart Junior High School; Mr. Green, ventriloquist, the Warblers, in several vocal selections, and Mr, Gehajano, in a special presentation of piano and guitar solés. The proposal was made by the Rey. Dr. Christie, who has been in Pal« estine for many years as a missionary of the United Free Church of Scotland.
