ROYAL WEDDING MAY BE IN ROME Pauline Chapel, in Quirinal Palace, Probable Site of Humbert’s Marriage. W7 the Associated Press. ROME, November 7.—Indications to- @day were that Crown Prince Humbert and Princess Marie Jose of Belgium would be married in Rome at the Pauline Chapel in the Quirinal Palace. The crown prince, who has been in Rome for several days, yesterday re-| P ceived the papal nuncio, Mgr. Bor- gongini Duca, for a 20-minute conver- sation, presumably in the connection, while Queen Eleana came from San Rossore in the strictest incognito to dis- cuss the wedding plans with her son. The chapel, which was named after pe Paul V, was chosen because it is now a private chapel in the royal house and can be policed with ease and cre- dentials of guests controlled. The ice will mean a more intimate fam- function than had been planned previously, without a gala cortege of State carriages, but it was supposed the l!! married pair would give the ace a chance to cheer them in a .¥ pearance on the Quirinal halcony ter the wedding. Certain other edifices have not been definitely excluded from the arrange- gnents. These included the national church, St. Mark of the Angels, in which the prince’s parents were mar- rled, and Santa Maria in Aracoeli, on Capitoline Hill, near the statue of Vic- tor Emanuel II. St. Peter's was for a long time con- sidered because it is the most spacious church in Christendom, but finally was 5 sbandoned becausz of its location out- @de the Italian state. = The visit of the Italian sovereign to the Pope, it is believed now, will take place the first week in December, the delay being occasioned by various re- pairs to the gate through which the Foyal carriage will pass. ;;STRATON WILL IS FILED.
