By the Associated Fress. oo CHICAGO, September 14.—Alleging that many of the rates on farm prod: ucts in the proposed tariff bill are too low to afford the degree of tion urged upon Congress by President Hoover in his message, the board of. di rectors 6f the American Farm Bureau Federation yesterday passed & resolu- tion calling ‘upon both the Senate and the House to revise the rates set forth in_the bill. The degree of protection sought, the resolution recites, is that_ which will “compensate the farmers' higher oosts and higher standards of living.” Text of Resolution.
