Five pullman cars of the train over- turned down a six-foot embankment, sliding into a swamp. W. B. Passengers caught in the overturned cars were rescued by the train crew and uninjured passengers who broke the glass in windows of the pullmans and entered the cars. First aid treat- ment was given the injured at Enfield, N. C, a little town a mile north of the wreck., Most of the injured after treatment continued their northward journey.
