The Henrionnet millinery parlors are modern in every respect and have been the admiration and have occasioned much com- mendatory talk during the past year and this no doubt has been the source of much of the business accorded that institution. The many readers of this edition are urged to visit this parlor, where articles in the abvoe mentioned lines are displayed in profusion. trade ERVIN & CO. Among Bemidji’s wholesale mercantile establishments the Beltrami Elevator & Milling Co. stands prominent. The com- pany, backed by H. C. Ervin, the St. Cloud miller whose products are well known throughout Northern Minnesota, is a strong one financially and covers probably the most territory of any of the mercantile establishments here. The equipment, con- sisting of a 20,000 bushel elevator and feed mill and a 60x100 ft. warehouse, is thor- oughly up to date and makes easy the handling of the several hundred cars a year the company ships to all points in Northern Minnesota. A large hay commission busi- ness is also carried on in connection with their flour, ground feed and coarse igrain business. The business here succeeds that of Mc- Cabe Bros.,, and was commenced last July, and has been very successful. The general supervision of the business is in the hands of Thos. S. Ervin, who for the past six years has looked after the H. C. Ervin interests in Northern Minnesota. Thos. Hughes, the local manager, and one of the most popular of Bemidji's younger business men, was formerly with McCabe Bros. and does much towards making the business the success it is. O. C. Simonson, also of the old firm, is the road man and is very strong with the trade on the Iron Range. The company makes a specialty of cater- ing to the wants of both merchant and logger, and with a strong line of goods and the ability to make quick shipments have very god reason to grow with Bemidji.
