Stanton is the latest dental ex- pert to establish offices in Bemidji and practice dentistry. Dr. Stanton came here but recently from Cass Lake, where he had been for several years, and his high-class work since locating here in the Winter Block hasg already secured for him many friendly patrons, and his business ‘is in- creasing daily. Dr. Stanton graduated from the Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1899, and has practiced his profession, with much success, since that time. Dr. Stanton has been in Bemidji but a few months, but he is steadily gaining friends and patrons and his business is growing, as it should. DR. J. H. ORR. Dr. J. H. Orr was graduated at the Dr. S. S. Still College of Osteopathy at Des Moines, Iowa, in January, 1904. For one year after graduation he was on the staff of college physicians ,after which he lo- cated in Flandreau, South Dakota, where he practiced until he located in Bemidji, one year ago. The doctor is a member of many scientific research societies and was president of the South Dakota Osteopathic association at the time of his leaving the state. In this day and age osteopathy needs no explanation or apologies. Fifteen years ago there was only one osteopath. Today there are over 6,000 in the practice, located in every state and territory of the Union. No other system of therapy has had such phenomenal or steady growth. It is legal- ized in every state and in most states there DR. J. H. ORR. are separate boards of osteopathic examin- ers. Osteopathy is essentially a system of physiological healing, not as many think, merely manipulation, although manipula- ttions enter largely into the work. All meth- ods scientific and found valuable are used by the D. O. of today. Dr. Orr has the best and most complete equipment for the treatment of acute and chronic diseases to be found in the North- west. It includes Dry Hot Air Apparatus for the treatment of rheumatism, blood, liver, kidney and other dsieases requiring elimination; all forms of electricity such as Static, Faradic, Galvanic, X-Ray, High fre- quency Hydro-therapeutic devices, vibrator, in fact every convenience for the successful handling of difficult cases.
