Reid, foreign trade ad- viser of the Pan-American Union, been connected with the union for the last several months. Reid joined the union in 1912 after having spent a number of years with the Bolivian government in con- structing rallroads and as & rep- resentative of American business in- terests in the Far East and Latin America. He had been foreign trade adviser of the union during most of his quarter century of service.
