He said the surgery of peace does not vary much | from the surgery of war. Campos of Brazil told of 700 skull fractures, which indicated the neces- sity of careful diagnosis of injuries. In some cases, he said, X-ray ex- aminations showed only one fracture of the skull whereas the victim had suffered several spinal injuries, he said, were similarly overlooked. STAYS AT BELVOIR Lieut. B. D. Rindlaub Will Revise Engineer School Texts. First Lieut. Bruce D. Rindlaub has been assigned by the War Depart- ment to temporary duty revising texts used at the Army Engineer Schoal, Fort Belvoir, Va, where he now is a student. Lieut. Rindlaub will begin the work of revision on completion of the present term at the school, it was announced. The work is expected to require the remainder of the Summer. On its completion Lieut. Rindlaub will be assigned to the Philippine Department, sailing from New York about September 11. . Gas Masks Stored. ORDERED RETIRED Capt. W. H. Wenstrom to Be Re- lieved of Duty About July 1. Orders for retirement of Capt. Wil- liam W. Wenstrom, Signal Corps, now on duty at Bolling Field, have been issued by the War Department. Capt. Wenstrom will be relieved of duty about July 1 and will be sent to his home in Boston to await re- tirement. First Sergt.-Andrew Lewis, Machine Gun Troop, 10th Cavalry, at Fort Myer, Va., was placed on the retired list, effective yesterday.
