By the Associated Press. Approval by Controller General Mc- Carl of an additional $90,120,124 of W. P. A. allotments today boosted the total immediately available for expenditure to $902,709.270. The mony will be used by W. P. A. administrators in 22 States and New York City to carry out projects se- lected from the $265,381,956 panel simultaneously approved by McCarl. Projects approved for five States al- ready had been announced, while de- tails of others will be made public later this week. McCarl has now approved $1,762,- 728.630 of P. A. projects, compared with $2.702.918,117 approved by Presi- dent Roosevelt 2,000,000 Jobs Forecast. Simultaneously with the return of Harry L. Hopkins and Secretary Ickes to the Capital with the President, woik relief officials predicted that more than 2,000,000 jobs would be provided in the next three weeks to carry the program to 3.500,000 on November 15. Novem- ber 1 originally had been set for this achievement, but Hopkins later pre- dicted 3.150.000 would be at work by 3 - - T — " % the end of October.
