Mehegan, attorney with the Federal Trade Commission for the last 14 years, died yesterday at his home, 2915 Connecticut avenue, after a long illness. Mr. Mehegan, a native of Norfolk, Va., had lived in Wash- ington for about 16 years. A graduate of Virginia Military In- stitute end St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania, he was for 32 years with the Railway Express Agency, Inc., in its earlier days. During the ‘World War he was in France and Germany with the Y. M. C. A. Besides his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Farant Mehegan, he is survived by a daughter,” Mrs. A. J. Cavanaugh, jr., a grandson, A. J. Cavanaugh, 3d., and two sisters, Miss Mary and Miss Ellen Mehegan of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Rlchmnnd. Va.
