CIVIL WAR VETERAN DIES AT HOME HERE James W. Condon, Retired Navy Yard Employe, Was Born ‘Near Woodville, Md. James W. Condon, retired Navy Yard employe and Civil War veteran, died at his home, 703 Fourteenth street south- east, Friday after a short illness. Death ‘was ascribed to heart disease, Mr. Condon was born near Woodville, Frederick County, Md., March 22, 184 He enlisted in the Union Army in 1864 and served from then until the close of the war. He was a member of Burn- side Post, Grand Army of the Republic. Mr, Condon is survived by two sons, Evan A. Condon of Bethesda, Md., and Albert W. Condon of Frederick City.
