RARE MANUSCRIPTS GIVEN TO LIBRARY Persian Collection Presented for Congressional Use by A. A. Kiachif. A rare collection of Persian manu- scripts dating from the ninth to the nineteenth centuries has just been pre- sented to the Library of Congress by A. A. Kiachif, president of the Persian Industries Corporation of New York, who has been collecting manuscripts and rare books of his native country for more than a quarter of a century. Husband Who Gives Wife His Pay Courts Trouble, Says Judge By the Associated Press. OMAHA, Nebr., ecember 18— ‘The man who gives his wife all his pay, Judge Herbert Rhoades said Tuesday, is inviting domestic difficulty. The statement was made in the divorce trial of Robert M. vs. Lillian A. Dickson. Dickson, charging cruelty, said he turned all his pay over to his wife and that once, when he did not do so, his wife burned him with an iron. “My wife,” Dickson said, “did not even give me enough for car fare to work.” Theater Collects Toys.
