The United States of America has brought three suits in the District of Columbia Supreme Court for a total of $30,000 for alleged failure to carry out the terms of leases to coal lands in Utsh. The sults were brought by United States Attorney Leo A. Rover, A.Ill.lll-nt United States Attorney John W. Pihelly and Assistant United States Attorney Renah F. Camalier. The Royal Indemnity Co. is sued as surety on all three contracts, and the other defendants are the Utah Fuel & !ron Co., a Nevada corporation; James Qu!nn and Delbert F. Densel, both ol Salt Lake City. The Government alleges that each of the contractors agreed to spend $250,000 in actual mining operations, developments and improvements of the roperties covered by their s several Llel. It is charged that the terms of the contracts have not been carried out ard that the principals have neglected to indemnify the United States.
