REAL BUILDING PERMITS TOTAL §44.06 Figure Decreases as Mostly Small Residential Units Are Recorded. The valuation of private building during the week ended Thursday, as estimated by permits issued through the office of Building Inspector John W. Ochmann, reached a total of $454,- 506, considerably below the near- record figure for the preceding week. No permits were issued for large proj- ects, the weekly total being composed largely of small residential units. A total of 132 permits were issued in the period. Included in the list were 45 single-family dwellings and two small apartments. The largest permit of the week was granted S. Kann Sons Co., for erec- ton of a warehouse addition at Dela- ware avenue and C street southwest. to cost $70,000. Roger Hall was listed as architect and James L. Parsons, jr., builder.
