HENRY W. ANDREWS RITES TOMORROW Iron Products Dealer Was Fa- tally Injured When Hit by Auto. Funeral services for Henry W. An- drews, 67, of 3603 New Hampshire avenue, vice president of the J. B. Kendall Co., iron products dealers, who was fatally injured yesterday when struck by an automobile, will be held tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in Hines funeral home, 2901 Fourteenth street. Rev. Dr. Bernard Braskamp, pastor of Gunton Temple Memorial Presby- terian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Andrews had been with the Kendall Co. for more than 50 years. MACARTHUR'S MOTHER, 82, DIES Widow of Former Military Gov- ernor of Philippines Was Born at Norfolk. By the Associated Press. MANILA, P. I, December 3.—Mrs. Arthur MacArthur, sr, mother of Maj. Gen. Douglas MacArthur, died today after a long illness. She had been ill in her hotel suite since she arrived in Manila two months ago. Special medicine was brought from the United States by the China Clipper, but it arrived too late to benefit the 82-year-old woman. Gen. MacArthur, former chief of staff of the United States Army, is military adviser of the commonwealth government of the Philippine Islands. Mrs. MacArthur was born Mary Hardy, in Norfolk, Va., 1853. She was the widow of Maj. Gen.
