Irwin was given a luncheon by the Presbyterial Society in the room of the Washington . For 21 years the Presby- terial fety in some official position and at the recent election was made presdent emeritus. Before the luncheon several hundred of her friends assem- bled in the sun parlor to extend greet- ings. n’.lghl luncheon program consisted of the invocation by Mrs. Willlam R. Rhoades, followed by a_ toast to Mrs. Irwin by Mrs. Willilam L. Darby, pre- siding officer. After lunch Mrs. Darby introduced the program with.very apt remarks. This was followed by a presentation of some of the important events during Mrs. Irwin's term of office.
