THANGE IN STREET NAME IS DEBATED Southwest Citizens Divided on Four-and-a-Half Street Titling. A proposal to change the name of Four-and-a-half street last night brought forth lengthy discussion at a mee of the Southwest Washington Citizens’ Association. Residents of the street were unanimous in opinion that the name should be changed, but there was a wide divergence of opinion on a substitute selection. Municipal Is Backed. Municipal avenue, is the probable selection, although ‘Washington avenue and John Marshall street both were stropgly supported. Adherents of the name Municipal ave- nue contended that the name was well chosen, since the street involved will run into the new Municipal Center. A committee to circularize residents in an effort to reach a decision was named. Definite action on the matter will be taken at the next meeting. ‘Waterfront Protection.
