The V-shape stand of billboards at left cuts off from both directions the highway view of the scene behind them, shown at right. Highway turp-ofl's and cross roads, as illustrated above, are favored places for bill- board concentratien. They often reduce corner vision for motorists in addition to cutting off scenery, as shown in the view at right taken just behind a group of these signboards.
