Starting with seven eandidates, the field was narrowed to three, including the two leaders and Rev. John E. White of Savannah, Ga., on the second ballot. Being the low | man, Mr. White was eliminated in the third ballot. The leading runners-up were elected wvice presidents, Dr. Dodd being named first vice president, Mr. White second vice president, M. P. Love of Hatties- burg, Miss., layman third vice president, end Dr. Charles W. Daniel, Richmond, fourth vice president. The secretaries, Hight C. Moore of Nashville and J. Henry Burnett of Macon, Ga., were re- elected.
