NEWS REEL SHOW LDYS LANDING Night Scene at Roosevelt Field, With 50,000 Cheer- ing, on Local Screens. The spectacular landing at night at the brilliantly lighted Roosevelt Flying Field, N. Y., of Col. and Mrs. Charles A. Lindbergh, after their cross-country flight, was caught by The Evening Star Universal newsreel cameraman and is showing today in the Warner Bros. theaters, the Rialto, and houses in nearby Maryland and Virginia. Shots of his plane, which came buzz- ing over New York after making a hop across the country from the coast in 14% hours, breaking Hawk'’s record by about 3 hours, were taken by a camera- man who had gone up in a plane feem Roosevelt Field. Great lights illuminated the field for miles around. Yet the plane is first seen as a mere speck in the sky, getting larger as it circled above the landing fleld until it glided gracefully to the ground. Flyers Are Congratulated. | ‘Thousands of spectators are shown surrounding the plane to congratulate “Lindy” and Anne, who had acted as navigator in the one-stop trip. The Talking R&rflrter tells of the thrilll incidents of this record flight and o other interesting events in the film. Another brilliant air feat is shown at Mather Field, Calif., where Army flyers mobilized in the air in the biggest gathering of planes since the war. Planes are shown sending out great smoke screens to blind the enemy. A great blanket of clouds was made by the smoke, which hid the city of San Francisco from any possible enemy lurking in the air. French Schooner Rescued. Many other interesting scenes in- clude the rescue of a French schooner, which was caught in an ice floe on the coast of Newfoundland; the first trial trip of the Enterprise, America’s cup defender, on Long Island Sound, at which Harold Vanderbilt took the wheel; the Boston marathon, a 26-mile race, which was won for the seventh time by De Mar( who is 42 years old; a water polo match between two girl teams at Venice, Calif.; the funeral of Queen Victoria of Sweden, held in Rome and attended by the Kings of Italy and Sweden and the royal fam- illes, Mussolini and other notables of the army and political circles. The great Easter parade on the board- walk at Atlantic City, on Fifth avenue, New York, and the Easter egg-rolling festivities on the White House lawn in ‘Washington, add to the gayety of the film. Clowns frcm the eircus did their stunt_for the crippled children of a New York orphanage, adding a dash of humor and pathos. McINTOSH 1 have heard so many people com- plain of stomach trouble that I feel I should tell them about Miller's Herb Extract (formerly called Herb Juice) and how it relieved me, after I had suffered for over two years, I have recommended this medicine in person to my friends and if those who read my statement de- sire further information I will gladly answer their questions; my address is 225 So. Payton St., Alexandria, Va. Yes for near three years I suffered with my stomach and every bit of food I ate caused me to suffer from gas and indigestion pains, my stom- ach would swell and bloat, bilious attacks caused me to be continually belching up a sour bile, colored spots seemed to float before the eyes, weak dizzy spells left me feeling sick all over, my nerves were always on edge and a real night's rest was a rare_thing in my life. Needless to say I all kinds of .medicine, but this Herb Extract was the only one to put me on my feet and banish all my health troubles. My stomach is now fine shape, I no longer suffer with those pains after eating, everything I eat agrees with me, liver acts normal, I never have any { more of those bilious attacks or any other sf of my former ailments. I also find this medicine fine for constipation; before using it I would often go three days without a bowel action, now they are regular. This is one medicine I can recommend above all others, as I know it to be .
