Mrs. Charles Anderson of Cincinnati, ©Ohio, sister of Mrs. Willlam Howard Taft, died of a heart attack in Paris, France, yesterday, according to word vecelved at the Taft home on Wyo- ming avenue. CLINE DIES AT HOME IN THIS CITY Proprietor of Corporation Dealing in Radio Supplies Expires at Age of 72. Arthur L. Cline, proprietor of Cline's, Inc., dealers in radio supplies and sta- tioiery and ploneer in the taxicab fleld in the National Capital, died at his home, 3750 Oliver street, Chevy Chase, today, after an illness of about & month. He was 72 years old. Mr. Cline had been in business in this city for the past 29 years, and was widely known here. He was in business in_Baltimore for a number of years be- fore coming to this city. As owner and operator of the Federal Taxicab & Auto Livery Co., which he sold scme four years ago, Mr. Cline had operated taxicabs in Washington in the days when that form of motor travel was being introduced to the public. He was for some time one of the oldest members of the Rotary Club, and lt the time of his death was an honor- member. He also belonged to the Optlmut Club, the City Club, Wash- ington Board of Trade and the Cham- ber of Commerce. He was a member of the old Crescent Club of Baltimore. Born in Leesburg, Va., December 20, 1857, Mr. Cline was the son of the late William and Margaret Anne Cline. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Gilmore Cline; a daughter, Miss Mar- garet Anne Cline; two sons, Leeland Arthur Cline and Alvin O.
