This work was done by Mr. Vigeland in his studio outside of Oslo and shipped in sections to Denmark. “The secret of my father's success,” said young Vigeland, “is the richness of his coloring combined with an original- ity of design. It is the firing of the glass after it has been painted which makes the vivid and permanent color- ing which one finds in the most famous stained glass windows of the old Eurc- pean cathedrals. Schireson, self-styled greatest of plastic surgeons.” An order revoking Schireson’s license, signed yesterday by Michael F. Walsh, director of education and registration, culminated charges brought by Miss Sayde Holland that Schireson induced her to submit to an operation “to ! straighten her bow legs.” ~As a result of the operation it was necessary to itate both legs. . M. L. Harris, president of the American Medical Association, headed the State medical committee which heard the charges against Schireson.
