S URGE INREASE NSPEEDLINT Congress Heights Citizens Oppose Penalty Raise on “Reckless Driving.” A proposal to present a citizens’ peti- tion to the proper authorities urging a | change in the present 22 miles per hour speed limit for traffic on Washington thoroughfares to 35 miles per hour limit was approved in a resolution adopted by ‘the Congress Heights Citizens’ Associa- | tion, meeting in the Congress Heights | Baptist Church last night. i The resolution also urged that Con- gress be asked to define the term ‘“reck- | less driving,” and that the courts shall | have final jurisdiction in the revocation of permits on charges of reckless driv- ing, driving while drunk and in other traffic violations of this nature.
