On the occasion of the prior visit the burglars gained entrance through a rear door, helping themselves to approxi- mately $200 or $300 worth of supplies, chiefly chickens, Iron bars were brought into play to prevent a repetition of the burglary, and last night the intruders gained entrance by smashing a front window. It was shortly before midnight when the barking of a dog on the premises attracting_the attention of a nearby resident. Examination of the premises disclosed the taking of a string of fancy dry-picked turkeys, picked late yester- day and hung near the front door. Just what other poultry the burglars took could not be determined. The one string of turkeys weighed approximately 150 pounds.
