C. yesterday. He was stricken while tending the furnace. Stuart was a widely-known expert on cattle feeding and breeding. At one time he was assistant to the dean and director of agricultural experiments at | the Kansas State Agricultural College, and he was for awhile with the Burcau of Chemistry. A native of Canada, Stuart was educated at the University of Vermont and came to this city and entered the Government service soon thereafter. He was widely known in Masonic cir- cles and was past master of the ‘Takoma Park Lodge of Masons. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella M. | Stuart. and a son, Ailen F. Stuart, who lives in New York. Funeral services will be conducted in the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Dr. R. Paul Schearrer, pastor, will offi- ciate.
