Incident to the writing of his mes- sage, the President contemplates hold- ing a number of important conferences with congressional leaders as well as| leaders in various lines of endeavor. | Among the latter will be farm leaders, from whom the President hopes to re- ceive suggestions relative to relief leg- islation. Taliked With Curtis. ‘The President already has discussed these subjects with Vice President-elect Curtis, who is to retire as majority leader of the Senate. The President will have his message finished before his departure from the White House for the Swannanoa Club in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where he and Mrs. Coolidge will spend four or five days, including Thanksgiving day. The President has accepted the invitation from President Alderman of the Univer- sity of Virginia to attend a luncheon to be held at the president’s house at the university on Thanksgiving day, and to later attend the foot ball game between Virginia and North Carolina.
